Terms of Use

1. Your agreement with Pawsies

By downloading, accessing, or using Pawsies, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Pawsies for an organization or another person, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for them.

Pawsies downloaded from Apple is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms supplement that license; mandatory Apple terms and applicable consumer law control if there is a conflict.

2. Eligibility and guest accounts

You must be at least 13 and old enough to consent to digital services where you live. If you are not, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use where permitted.

Pawsies automatically creates a pseudonymous guest account. You are responsible for access to your device and for activity through that account. Deleting the app may remove local progress and may make a guest account or its content unavailable. Use the in-app account deletion control when you intend to permanently delete your Pawsies account and associated data.

3. Personalized pets and rooms

Pawsies can use a photo you choose to create stylized, AI-generated pet or room assets. Generation may take time and may occasionally fail. Results are creative interpretations: they may be inaccurate, inconsistent, incomplete, or visually different from the source photo.

You must have the legal right and any necessary permission to upload each photo. Do not upload confidential material, unlawful content, intimate imagery, images that exploit minors, or another person’s image without permission. You grant Pawsies and its service providers a limited, worldwide right to host, copy, transform, transmit, and process submitted content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the requested service and comply with law.

We may reject or remove content that violates these terms, threatens safety, infringes rights, or could expose Pawsies or others to liability.

4. Purchases, Paw Gems, and Pawprints

App Store purchases

Purchases are offered and billed by Apple under the price and terms shown in the App Store purchase sheet. Taxes and localized prices are determined by Apple. For help with a purchase, refund, or charge dispute, contact us at [email protected].

Paw Gems

Paw Gems are a consumable virtual currency used for eligible personalized pet and room generations. They are licensed, not sold; have no cash value; are not property; cannot be transferred, traded, or redeemed for money; and may only be used within Pawsies. Except where law or Apple policy requires otherwise, used Paw Gems are not refundable. An interrupted generation may be retried or its related Paw Gems restored when our systems determine the generation did not start.

Pawprints and items

Pawprints are earned through eligible in-app care and play interactions and may unlock virtual items. Pawprints are not purchased currency, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred. Item availability, balancing, rewards, and virtual-currency costs may change as the game evolves, subject to applicable law.

We may correct balances affected by error, fraud, chargeback, duplicated grants, or unauthorized activity. We will not intentionally remove legitimately purchased, unused Paw Gems without a valid reason.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Pawsies unlawfully or violate another person’s privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights.
• Probe, disrupt, overload, automate abuse of, reverse engineer where prohibited, or bypass access, purchase, security, or generation controls.
• Manipulate virtual-currency balances, exploit bugs, submit fraudulent transactions, or resell accounts or virtual items.
• Use generated content to impersonate, deceive, harass, or harm another person.

6. Ownership

Pawsies and its licensors own the app, software, design, branding, catalog assets, audio, text, and other service materials, excluding content you provide and rights that applicable law gives you in generated output. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pawsies for non-commercial entertainment in accordance with these terms.

AI output may not be unique, and other users may receive similar output. We do not promise that generated output is eligible for intellectual-property protection or free from every third-party claim.

7. Pet care disclaimer

Pawsies is an entertainment product. Virtual hunger, thirst, sleep, health, mood, litter, and reminder features do not measure or diagnose the condition of a real animal and are not veterinary advice. Contact a qualified veterinarian about a real pet’s health or behavior.

8. Service availability and changes

We work to keep Pawsies available, but online generation, purchases, analytics, remote configuration, or third-party services may be delayed, interrupted, or unavailable. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features; update game balance; or impose reasonable technical limits. We will provide notice when required by law.

9. Suspension, termination, and deletion

You may stop using Pawsies at any time and can delete your guest account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, fraud, security risk, legal requirements, or harm to the service or others. Sections that by their nature should survive—such as purchase, ownership, disclaimers, liability, and dispute terms—continue after termination.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pawsies is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free or perfectly accurate generated output. Mandatory consumer guarantees remain unaffected.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pawsies and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or loss arising from unauthorized device access. Our total liability for claims relating to Pawsies will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid through Pawsies during the 12 months before the claim or USD 50, unless applicable law requires a different remedy or limit.

11. Disputes and applicable law

Before filing a formal claim, contact [email protected] and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. These terms are governed by the laws applicable where the Pawsies operator is established, excluding conflict-of-law rules, while preserving any mandatory consumer protections and courts available where you live.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will revise the effective date and provide notice in the app when a material change requires notice. Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms, to the extent permitted by law.
